Preparation

  • Passport — valid at least 6 months from entry date and with a blank visa page.
  • Visa — most nationalities can get a Tourist Visa on arrival or apply via Nepal’s e-visa portal before travel; check exemptions for a few countries. Carry a printed copy of any e-visa confirmation.
  • Photocopies & photos — 1–2 passport photocopies and 2 passport-size photos (some temple offices / hotels may ask).

Itinerary

Day 1   Arrival in Kathmandu

Location: Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. If time allows, explore the vibrant streets of Thamel.

Day 2   Kathmandu Sightseeing

Location: Kathmandu

Start your cultural exploration in Kathmandu, visiting the sacred Budhanilkantha Temple (Sleeping Vishnu), Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3   Drive to Pokhara via Manakamana Temple

Location: Pokhara

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Pokhara. En route, stop for a cable car ride and visit Manakamana Temple. Check in at your hotel in Pokhara.

Day 4   Fly to Jomsom & Visit Muktinath

Location: Muktinath

Take an early morning flight to Jomsom. From Jomsom, travel by jeep to the base of Muktinath Temple. Trek to the temple and visit key sites such as Muktinath Temple, Jwala Mai Temple, and the Shakyamuni Buddha Statue. Return to Jomsom for an overnight stay.

Day 5   Return to Pokhara & Sightseeing

Location: Pokhara

After breakfast, fly back to Pokhara. Spend the day visiting attractions such as the International Mountain Museum, Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Seti River Gorge, and Bindabasini Temple. Enjoy an evening boat ride on Fewa Lake with a visit to Tal Barahi Temple.

Day 6   Drive Back to Kathmandu

Location: Kathmandu

Travel back to Kathmandu after breakfast. Spend your free evening shopping or exploring the city at your leisure.

Day 7   Departure from Kathmandu

Location: Kathmandu

After breakfast, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure.
